The History Of Jenn Air Microwave Heating Devices
Microwave ovens in The States and the planet have made life easier for mankind when preparing meals or warming food or drinks. Microwaves have an interesting history from the first one designed to how it was invented.
The first microwave heating device that was formally documented using the term microwave was in 1931 when it was referred to in The Telegraph and Telephone Journal. It is amazing that a math person named James Clark Maxwell was able to foresee an existence of electromagnetic waves as soon as 1864 applying math equations. In around 1890 the first individual demonstrated the existence of electromagnetic waves using an UHF region.
In the 1970s they got accessible for middle-class Americans. The company Jenn Air was founded by a man called Louis J. Jenn. This corporation was established in the late 1940s. When it was established the name was Jenn-Air Products. This is a company that originally built fans for huge buildings (the accurate name is industrial fans).
They evolved into making kitchen devices like ovens and stove ranges. Few years later the enterprise name has become Jenn-Air. They got into making refrigerators in the 60s then microwaves have become popular and they set off to build and sell these up to the present day.
The creator Louis J. Jenn has a suitable memorial park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Maytag acquired Jenn-Air in the early 1980s and they are now owned by Whirlpool corporation as of 2006. Jenn Air still makes microwaves, but now the type that are integrated with the walls and countertops are what they specialize in.
One of the present day models being offered is the 30 inch over the range Jenn Air microwave convection oven. Convection signifies that it is a microwave heating device that works as a regular microwave oven and also works as an oven type that cooks food with the speed of a microwave heating device but the food comes out browned just like it would out of a regular oven.
Jenn Air also offers 24 and 27 inch microwave ovens. The 30 inch Jenn Air microwave oven is offered in 5 colors. The 24 inch is an under counter product with a drawer style. These are not the cheap microwaves you will see at a Walmart etc, but these are quality microwave heating devices that last much longer and are made with better parts.
The Jenn Air microwave is well worth the price and if you buy one of these you won't regret it.
